The Lord’s prayer is an active meditation where we should reflect and contemplate who we are and where we come from. A reminder that our experienced reality and individuality is connected to a Higher Consciousness. This individuality “I” is our Soul. That our actions impact everyone else in our shared reality now and also in the future and that we are individually responsible.

We should remember that the Lord’s prayer has been translated into Greek and Latin several times over the centuries, and that there are variants of the English language in the Lord’s prayer since it was first translated about 340 years ago. In addition we have the aspect of the religious-political powers that would influence the language.
The prayer is about connecting with the Source – our Creator. Our immortal Souls are of the Source, and our work on earth is evolve spiritually by elevating our thinking, feelings, and actions – the faculties in which our Soul is working.
